The legal terms governing your use of Double Vision products. We've kept them as short and as readable as we could.
We sell three things: a free Android calculator app (ShopCalc), tools and parts through Ace & Alan Tool, and motorcycle hardware through Nomad. We also build custom software for businesses. These terms cover what you can expect from us, and what we ask from you, when you use any of those.
“We,” “us,” and “Double Vision” mean Double Vision USA LLC, a Texas LLC. “The sites” means doublevision.company and nomad.doublevision.company. “The products” means ShopCalc, anything you order from Ace & Alan Tool or Nomad, and any custom software work we do for you under a separate written agreement.
You can read these sites and use ShopCalc for free. We ask you not to scrape, hammer, or try to break them, and not to use them to do anything illegal. ShopCalc itself works offline and doesn’t require an account.
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless we say otherwise on the quote. Prices and lead times are confirmed in writing on the quote — what’s on this site is informational. Stocked items typically ship 1–3 business days from Magnolia, TX. If something arrives wrong or damaged, email us within 14 days and we’ll make it right (refund, replace, or credit — your call within reason).
Nomad sells through verified regional distributors, not direct-to-consumer from this site. If you bought a Nomad kit through an authorized distributor and the hardware doesn’t match the spec sheet, contact us and we’ll work with the distributor to make it right. Distributor terms (returns, freight, payment) are set by your distributor.
The optional Pro Unlock is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Google Play. It unlocks Pro features inside the app for the Google account that purchased it. Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Google Play under their published policy. We’ll always help where we can.
If we’re building software for you, the specifics (scope, price, timeline, ownership of code, hosting, support) are set in a separate written agreement we sign with you. These terms don’t override that agreement.
We try hard to keep the sites running, ShopCalc accurate, and physical products on spec. We can’t promise the sites will never be down, that ShopCalc will be bug-free, or that a delivery will never be late. We’re responsible for actual harm caused by us doing the wrong thing — not for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, lost data, downstream business effects). Where the law requires us to be more responsible, the law wins.
For anything you paid us for, our total liability is capped at what you paid us for that thing. (For free things — ShopCalc, reading the site — there’s no fee, so the cap is zero. That’s standard.)
If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we’ll update the effective date at the top. The version live on this page when you place an order or use ShopCalc is the version that applies to you.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. If we ever have to take a dispute to court, it’ll be in the state or federal courts in Montgomery County, Texas.
